숫자를 빛깔로 생각해 봤습니다. 단순하고 깔끔하게 읽히는 단색과 여러 색이 공존하며 전달하는 에너지로 말이죠.
작품의 이미지와 별개로 색들의 조합과 구성으로 다채로움(colorful)을 머릿속으로 상상하니 자연스레 입가에 미소가 머금어졌습니다. 그렇게 이번 전시는 기획 되었습니다. 다양한 색에 대한 해석으로 개성 있는 작업들을 선보이고 있는 작가 김영진, 이효연, 하지훈 세 분의 작품으로 소노아트의 기획전 《Colorful Beautiful》을 시작합니다.
세 작가의 각기 다른 붓 터치들 사이에는 넓디넓은 시간이 읽힙니다. 전시장의 하얀 여백들에도 읽혀질 시간을 관람객들과 만들어 가려 합니다. 아름답게~
There's a clarity that one gives. And there's the abundance that the majority gives.
I thought of numbers as colors. With the energy that simple and neat read monochrome and many colors coexist and transmit.
Apart from the image of the work, I imagined the colorful in my head with the combination and composition of colors, and naturally a smile stuck around my mouth. That's how this exhibition was planned. Sono Art's exhibition "Colorful Beautiful" will be launched with the artworks of three artists, Kim Young-jin, Lee Hyo-youn, and Ha Ji-hoon, who are presenting unique works with interpretations of various colors.
Between the three artists' different brush touches, a vast amount of time is read. I'm going to make time with the audience to read the white margins of the exhibition hall.
